Rupert Neve and Kevin Burgin
Owner, Designer, Co-Designer
Rupert Neve Designs

Mr. Rupert Neve founded the Neve Companies in 1961, designing and manufacturing custom equipment for the recording, TV, film and broadcast industries worldwide, including the now legendary Neve consoles and module designs(He sold the Neve company in 1975 and has had no connection to AMS-NEVE since). He was only the 3rd person to ever receive a Lifetime Achievement Technical GRAMMY and was inducted as a member of the Mix Hall of Fame in 1989. Kevin Burgin has been working along side Rupert on new analogue circuit designs over the past 8 years, and his work is quintessential to the sound of the Portico Range.

Rupert Neve Designs specializes in timeless analogue signal processing, mic preamplifiers and mixers for discerning ears. Rupert and Kevin are both well versed in the modern recording process and how to overcome the quality limitations of digital audio with carefully designed analogue front and back end hardware solutions.

Rupert and Kevin can answer questions regarding the past, present, and future of sound production. They can also answer questions regarding their current design philosophies and why analogue audio is still a crucial part of modern studio recording.
